Research Assistant/Intern

The Labor Lab RAship (Research Assistant) is a micro-internship designed to be a flexible and remote role that can be completed during any part of the year. It typically consists of about 20 hours of work broken into specific projects over three months. As an RA, you’ll contribute to real research on the college-to-career transition while developing valuable skills for your own journey.

Tasks may include:

Depending on the current project needs and your interests, you might:

  • Conduct short interviews with students or professionals

  • Analyze survey data or code qualitative responses

  • Create social media content to share key research insights

  • Help design student-friendly infographics or blog posts

  • Assist with literature reviews and organize references

  • Draft short research briefs or summaries

  • Use tools like ChatGPT or Google Sheets to clean or synthesize data
