The Labor Lab RAship (Research Assistant) is a micro-internship designed to be a flexible and remote role that can be completed during any part of the year. It typically consists of about 20 hours of work broken into specific projects over three months. As an RA, you’ll contribute to real research on the college-to-career transition while developing valuable skills for your own journey.
Depending on the current project needs and your interests, you might:
Conduct short interviews with students or professionals
Analyze survey data or code qualitative responses
Create social media content to share key research insights
Help design student-friendly infographics or blog posts
Assist with literature reviews and organize references
Draft short research briefs or summaries
Use tools like ChatGPT or Google Sheets to clean or synthesize data
Every RA who completes their hours will gain:
Access to training on research and career skills
A certificate of completion for their resume or LinkedIn
Letters of recommendation or references for job applications or graduate school
We will send you an email to set up a time to talk.
